Summer break is finally over and it’s back to school and back to hockey. Travel ice and football both start up as well and that means we lose a few players from our youth divisions for a couple of seasons but onward we roll. The draft has completed and the coaches have done a terrific job in the draft room in working with me to try our best to keep the teams as competitive and even as we could with minimal player movement. As sometimes happen what looks good on paper doesn’t always pan out the right way but I did want to assure you that not a single coach was only out for their interest, they certainly did work with each other with a common goal in mind.

The league has added several new faces this season which is great and we hope that each and everyone of them have a pleasant experience at Slapshot and enjoy the game as much as our family’s and staff do. As always if you have any concerns or comments about the league feel free to hunt me down and fill me in, I will either be roaming the halls or in the League Office during most all of Saturday games as well as making sure I am present at least a couple of times for every Adult teams games. The League Office is located in the front of the building directly across form the pro-shop door.

As for our Adult Leagues, we also have many new faces to the building and have split once again into Copper, Bronze and Silver Divisions with a Gold Division to start in a couple of weeks and run independently from the regular Adult Divisions. The Adult Division had significant growth this season and as always we welcome back our returning players and hope to build a long relationship with the new ones, and just as with the youth I welcome any comments you may have.
